Do you feel emotionally disconnected in your relationships?
Maybe you have moments where it feels like you're right back in that terrifying situation from the past—it feels like it's happening again…and again…and again.
Perhaps you know you have overreacted but you just can not seem to change your reaction- your body is on ‘autopilot’.
You’ve become adept at avoiding people while meeting your basic needs. But now you feel completely disconnected—from friends, family, and relationships. You don't trust anyone, not even yourself.
You feel the impact in every facet of your life:
You avoid certain places, people, or activities that trigger distressing memories or emotions because it feels too overwhelming.
Family and friends notice that something's 'off' and often ask, 'Are you okay?'
You have no control over re-experiencing haunting, traumatic memories. It’s as if a single thread is being pulled, causing every aspect of your life to unravel. You feel powerless.
